A Wednesday night shooting at a Danville apartment complex results in the death of a 23-year-old man. Police say they received a shots fired call at the Woodside Village Apartments on Piney Forest Rd and found the man in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. He was airlifted to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital where he died early Thursday. The man is identified as Darick Lamont Richardson II of Danville. The shooter is still at large.
