Danville-based God’s Pit Crew is sending supplies to eastern Kentucky following this week’s catastrophic and deadly flooding. Several people died after 10 inches of rain fell overnight causing landslides, heavy flooding, and washing away homes and roads.
The nonpriofit is assessing the situation as the floodwaters recede to determine whether to send their Immediate Response Team of volunteers to help with the clean-up.
