A Blairs family is homeless after Hurricane Ian damaged their home on Friday night. Karen St. John and her two sons were at home when the storm knocked over a tree that crashed into their home.

According to WSET, St. John was sitting just three feet away from where the tree crashed through the house. The tree also damaged some of her mother’s things like a blue china set. The house used to belong to her parents.

St. John and one of her sons are staying with her daughter, while her other son is staying with her niece. The family is waiting to hear back from the insurance company and a GoFundMe has been set up to help the family here.
