One person died in a house fire in Martinsville Friday morning. According to WDBJ 7, the fire occurred in the 400 block of Forest Street around this 6:30.

The identity of the victim won’t be revealed until after an autopsy is performed. No firefighters  were injured during the fire that took hours to put out.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined and there is no evidence of foul play.
