The Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors couldn’t come to an agreement on Tuesday night on who would fill the Banister District Seat. The supervisors agreed on a motion to have Pittsylvania County Circuit Court Judge Stacey Moreau make the selection on who will fill the vacant seat.
The supervisors heard from all seven candidates for the seat in a closed meeting that took about two hours. The seat has been vacant since September when Jessie Barksdale resigned. This was the third time the board has met or tried to meet to discuss the candidates.
