Virginia State Police has issued a critically missing adult alert on behalf the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Veronica Maxwell Jones, 55. She was last seen on Tuesday at 4:20 pm walking in the 3700 block of Colonial Turnpike.
Jones is 5’9 in height and weighs 200 lbs. She has brown eyes and black hair. She is possibly wearing jeans with a large blue coat and yellow backpack. She should also be wearing a hospital ID band on her wrist from a recent visit.
Her disappearance poses a credible threat to her health and safety, as determined by the investigating agency. Please call 911 or the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at 540-483-3000.
