The Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber of Commerce is holding a free online small business contracting seminar on November 16. The seminar titled “Small Business Contracting 101 With the State of Virginia” will be held from 10-11:30 am.

The Commonwealth of Virginia spends BILLIONS of dollars on goods and services each year. The Commonwealth has set-aside programs that encourages state agencies to purchase goods and services from small businesses. The Commonwealth’s goal is to spend 42% of it’s discretionary funds with Small, Women-Owned, and Minority-Owned businesses (SWaM).
