As the midterm elections have come to an end across the country a lot is still to be determined. In the House of Representatives Republicans hold the edge 200 to 172 with 63 seats still to be determined. The Republicans need just 18 of those last 63 to hold the majority of 218 seats. .

Several key senate seats are up for grabs with the races in Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, and Wisconsin still to be determined. As it sits now each party has 48 senate seats. In some of the key senate races Republican Ted Budd defeated Cheri Beasley in North Carolina, in Pennsylvania Democrat John Fetterman beat Mehmet Oz, and in Ohio Republican J.D. Vance defeated Tim Ryan.

The race in Georgia is still still to close to call as Democrat Raphael Warnock holds a less than 1% lead over Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker. Warnock currently has 49.4% of the vote, in Georgia though a candidate has to secure 50% or it will lead to a runoff on December 6.

The race for party control with governors across the country is also super tight as The Republicans currently hold the slight edge 24 to 21 with Kansas, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, and Alaska still to be determined. A few of the key governor results Republican Ron DeSantis won easily over Charlie Crist in Florida, Democrat Kathy Hochul held on to her seat in New York, and in Georgia Republican Brian Kemp defeated Stacy Abrams again with over 53% of the vote.
