A shooting at the University of Virginia has left three dead and two injured. According to the Daily Progress, police are still searching for the suspect who has been identified as former UVA football player, Christopher Darnell Jones.
A shelter in place order is still in effect for the school as of 4:30 am. The shooting occurred at the Culbreth Garage at around 10:40 pm.
Jones is considered armed and dangerous and was last seen wearing a burgundy jacket, blue jeans and red shoes. He might be driving a black SUV with Virginia tags that read TWX3580. Jones was listed as a football player on the schools athletic website in 2018 and it is unclear if he’s still a student at the school.
