The Danville Fire Department has extinguished a fire on Westover Dr. that they were battling Thursday morning. There were no injuries from the fire that occurred in the 2000 block of Westover Dr.

The fire temporarily caused a road closure in the area. The cause of the fire has been ruled as accidental.
