The Danville Parks and Recreation is hosting the Community Holiday Light Show event again this year from December 8-23. This event is the biggest one yet, with over 40 displays available to see in historic Ballou Park.

The even will run nightly from 6-9 p.m. With the cost being $10 per car and $20 for mini-buses and 15-passenger vans.

Photos with Santa, activities, and refreshments are included in the price of admission. Additionally, the 2022 show will again have a community-designed ornament, developed by local artist Ashley Ruffin, which will be available for purchase inside Children’s Village for $10 while supplies last.

Each year the light show grows and changes due to the outstanding support from the community. This is the ninth year of the Community Holiday Light Show, and it’s the largest yet,” says Special Events Coordinator, Taylor Roberts. “We thank all of the community organizations and businesses that build displays, work the gates, and volunteer inside Children’s Village.”
