The U.S. 29 South exit ramp was closed for over an hour on Saturday after a single vehicle crashed on 29 south near West Main Street during a pursuit by Virginia State Police. The crash occurred at 4:55 pm and was reopened at 6:23 pm after the crash was cleared.

Details have not been released on the chase or the condition of the person that was driving the vehicles that crashed.
