At the Danville City Council meeting last night, Kenny Lewis addressed the council about the faith based non-profit program Better Together. Lewis stated one of the programs focus areas is education and that they are partnering with the Danville Church and Community Tutorial Program to add more homework centers in the area.

“What we would like to announce is that we are going to do an all out blitz in trying to get all of our churches, we’re targeting community centers, we’re targeting day cares, we’re targeting Averett and DCC. We are trying our very best to go all out to ask Danville to come together to develop these homework network centers to help our kids succeed,” said Lewis.
