Dominion Energy is hosting an open house on Thursday for the Southern Virginia Solar Project.  The event will be held at Peaceful Baptist Church at 1132 Berry Hill Rd. from 5-7 pm.

Dominion Energy is constructing a 125 MW solar facility to be known as “Southern Virginia Solar.” The Project is located on roughly 1,300 acres in Pittsylvania County, southwest of the intersection of Berry Hill Road and Buford Road. Construction activities are scheduled to begin mid-March, with mobilization of personnel and equipment to site in the few weeks prior to construction start.
