The Danville Police Department has formed a partnership to deal with repeat domestic related calls. The department has partnered with Drs. Roberto and Rachel Santos of Radford University’s Center for Police Practice, Policy and Research.

The partnership has created a proactive police response guide for repeat domestic-related calls for the department. The project was funded in full by a grant through the U.S. Department of Justice’s Community Oriented Policing Services.
