Danville native Tremaine Edmunds is signing a massive four-year $72 million contract with the Chicago Bears, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The deal includes $50 million in guaranteed money.

Edmunds spent the first five seasons of his career with the Buffalo Bills after he was drafted 16th overall in the 2018 NFL Draft. The new deal is the largest contract an inside linebacker has signed in NFL history.
