A 20-year-old Arkansas man has been arrested in Henry County after leading law enforcement on a high speed motorcycle chase on Thursday morning. The man was seen driving at a high rate of speed on Greensboro Road right before 10 am.
According to deputies, the man was clocked driving as fast as 98 MPH in a 45 MPH zone. The pursuit continued north into Martinsville and when the driver tried to turn left from Virginia Avenue onto Kohler Road he lost control and crashed.
The driver was not injured during the crash and was identified as Adon Carothers of Pottsville, Arkansas. He has been charged with reckless driving, eluding law enforcement, driving on a suspended license, driving without a motorcycle endorsement, as well as driving without insurance, and no vehicle registration.
