A Henry County juvenile has turned herself into authorities following an arson incident at a Dollar General in Martinsville. On Thursday, April 20 at 7:20 pm the Martinsville-Henry County 911 Center received a call from Dollar General at 6260 A L Philpott Highway for an arson and vandalism.

After an investigation it was determined that a juvenile woman picked up a lighter in the store and set fire to items near the register. The juvenile and another woman left the scene in a white Honda Accord.

The juvenile’s name will not be released and charges are pending.
