A Henry County man has been taken into custody in Indiana on Kidnapping charges after being wanted by Rockingham County authorities for almost a week. On Wednesday at around 6 pm, Rockingham County Sheriff’s Investigators received notification that Douglas Alan Scholz had been taken into custody in Pulaski County, Indiana by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.
Scholz is being held in the Pulaski County Detention Center awaiting extradition proceedings to be returned to Rockingham County.
Scholz was wanted on felony first degree kidnapping and for felony domestic violence protective order violation. The charges stemmed from a domestic disturbance at 411 Vintage Road in Eden on April 27.
