A South Boston man has been arrested after stabbing one person and injuring a second person on Sunday afternoon. At 4:45 pm, officers from South Boston Police Department responded to Dollar General at 3140 Halifax Road in the Town of South Boston to a report of an assault.

 

Officers arrived on scene to find a 24-year-old male who had been stabbed multiple times.  The victim was transported to the hospital as a result of his injuries.  A second victim, a 45-year-old female, was identified on scene but her injuries did not require immediate medical attention.

 

Shortly after the incident, officers from South Boston Police Department arrested Quentin Younger, 52, in connection with the incident.  Younger was arrested and charged with Malicious Wounding, Robbery, and Strangulation.  Younger is being held at Blue Ridge Regional Jail with no bond.

 

Corporal A.B. Jones and Investigator C.
