Average gas prices across Virginia are down slightly, while the average price across the country has increased over the last week. The average across the state dropped a penny to $3.30 a gallon, while the average across the country has gone up four cents from last week to $3.59.

In Danville the average price has gone up by two cents to $3.16 and in Pittsylvania County the average price has increased by a nickel to $3.31 a gallon over the last week.

The average price in Martinsville has increased by three cents from last week to $3.20, while prices in Henry County have decreased by three cents to $3.19 a gallon.

In Halifax County the average price has dropped again to $3.16 a gallon, down two cents from last week.
