Danville Parks and Recreation will hold a Juneteenth community celebration on Friday, June 16. The Juneteenth: Unity in the Community event will be from 5-8 pm at the Ballou Park Stage area.

The event will feature face painting, horseshoes, cornhole, crafts, and a motorcycle show by East Side Ryders. There will also be a number of performances throughout the event including African drum and dance, storytelling, and jazz music.
