The Danville Police Department is seeking donations to support the Youth Police Academy. The academy began this week for youth ages 9-17 and will last for three weeks.

The students in the academy will take a closer look at criminal justice, what officers do daily, and more. In terms of donations the academy is in need of snacks, candy, Gatorade, and juice.

Donations can be dropped off at the Danville Police Department at 1 Community Way between the hours of 7 am-5:30 pm.
