Both suspects are now in custody after a bank robbery in Martinsville on Saturday afternoon.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the robbery that occurred at Woodforest Bank located inside Walmart on Saturday afternoon. At approximately 1:59 pm, the Martinsville / Henry County 911 Communication Center received an alarm call at Woodforest Bank.
While deputies were in route to the call, the 911 communication center received an additional call that the bank had been robbed. Upon arrival, deputies learned that a white male wearing glasses with long dark-colored hair, a black hat, a gray shirt, and dark-colored pants entered the bank and walked up to the teller.
