The City of Danville is getting a new logo and is inviting residents to take part in the process of selecting the new logo. The city has posted a survey online looking for feedback from Danville residents to help create the next logo.
A release from River City TV said the city is looking to evolve.
“The history of Danville’s logo has left an indelible mark on our community, but as we move forward, it’s crucial that our visual representation evolves with us. We need your insights to create a new city logo that symbolizes the progress and aspirations of our dynamic city.”
Some of the questions in the survey ask for residents to list the three most distinct qualities of Danville and what is one thing that sets Danville apart from other communities?

This is such a lame idea! The logo is perfect the way it is ! Put the money towards the hospital system so people in area can get better healthcare in their own community instead of going somewhere else ! Put the money into parks so kids and parents want to go spend time in them! Put more money aside for the rescue squad ! They work hard for the community and get paid very little! That’s where all the time and effort should be spent not on a logo
