A Yanceyville man has been arrested by the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office on multiple charges including attempted forcible rape. 28-year-old Takanta Jarrod Thompson was arrested and charged with felony counts of attempted first degree forcible rape and indecent liberties with a child.

Thompson has also been charged with misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty, assault by pointing a gun, and communicating threats. Thompson has been placed in the Caswell County Detention Center under a $1,000,000 secured bond.
