The Danville Police Department will be hosting a frozen foods giveaway by Tyson this Saturday. The giveaway will begin at 8 am at 1 community way. Boxes will be given away on a first come, first served basis.

Those that plan to attend should use the Memorial Drive entrance. You must be in a car to receive a box of food.

In total Tyson will giveaway about 27,000 pounds of protein.

Tyson is currently is hiring for hourly production, machine operators, forklift operators and more. Tyson will open its new facility in mid-September and is looking to hire 50-70 more people before opening.
