A 19-year-old South Boston man was injured in a shooting on Friday night. According to the South Boston Police Department the shooting occurred in the 1000 block of River Road at 9:12 pm.

The man suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital. The investigation revealed that a occupants from a vehicle fired several shots at another vehicle while both were driving in the same direction.
