A Danville man was killed in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, September 9. According to WDBJ 7, Danville Police identified the man as 36-year-old Eddie Dwight Bennett Jr.

Bennett was driving a Kawasaki motorcycle in the 2900 block of Memorial Drive when he lost control of the bike and was thrown off. He was taken to the hospital and died from his injuries two days later.
