The man accused of a 2022 homicide in Danville pleaded guilty in court on Tuesday. Andrew Menjivar pled guilty to charges of voluntary manslaughter, discharging a firearm in public resulting in injury, and nonviolent felony firearm possession in the fatal shooting of 29-year-old Brandon Gore at Purdum Woods apartments on May 17, 2022.

Menjivar was arrested in North Carolina three days later following a manhunt. His sentencing will be at a later date.
