The Danville Police Department is investigating following a Danville City School Bus crash that occurred Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to the intersection of S Ridge and Loyal Streets for a reported motor vehicle crash involving Bus 64 and a gray Honda. Children were on the bus at the time of the crash. No one was injured on the bus.

The driver of the Honda was transported from the scene.

Bus driver Melanie Long was charged with failure to obey the highway sign.

The crash remains under investigation.
