A Danville City Council member pleaded guilty in court to a Driving While Intoxicated charge on Wednesday. Larry Campbell Jr. received a suspended 60-day sentence and received a fine of $300. He will not serve any time in jail.

Campbell Jr. was arrested at 2 pm on May 6 in the 1900 block of South Boston Rd. after Danville Police received a report from a concerned citizen. Campbell Jr. has been a member of City Council since 2008.
