The Pittsylvania County Board of Supervisors approved a new proposal from VDOT last night for improvements at the Tightsqueeze intersection.

The design will add a left turn lane on Tight Squeeze Rd. and a right turn lane on Fairview Road at Route 29. There would also be a raised median to prevent certain movements and conflict points in the intersection.

The new plan was presented as an alternative to the previously rejected RCut design.
