This week Project Imagine staff is hosting leaders from The School District of Philadelphia’s Office of School Safety. The School District of Philadelphia was referred to Danville through the National Gang Center as a city that effectively implemented the Comprehensive Gang Model.

The Philadelphia school district also operates under the Comprehensive Gang Model structure, so the purpose of the visit is to gain an understanding of how Danville’s schools system, law enforcement, community and municipality worked together to address gang violence in school age youth.
