On Sunday officers with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Martinsville Police Department arrested a man following a narcotics search. The search was executed at 1780 Stultz Road in Martinsville.

Authorities found unlawfully possessed prescription pills, numerous firearms, and one pound of marijuana. The evidence that led to the warrant suggested that narcotics had been shipped to and from the residence.

As a result of the search 32 year old Quinton Lamar Jones has been arrested and charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of over one pound of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm while in possession of a schedule II substance.

He is being held at the Henry County adult detention center under no bond.
