A trailer with $50,000 worth of copper wire inside has been stolen in Henry County. On Thursday, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office responded to 4040 Virginia Ave. in Collinsville in reference to a larceny.
A grey, enclosed trailer with approximately eighteen rolls of copper wire valued at $50,000 was stolen. A white pickup truck has been identified as the vehicle involved in the larceny.
Anyone having information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at (276) 638-8751 or the Crimestoppers Program at 63-CRIME (632-7463). The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards up to $2500.00 for information related to crime. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.
