Average gas prices across Virginia dropped by 15 cents from two weeks ago to $3.14 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country dropped by 13 cents to $3.36.

The average price of gas in Danville is down by 16 cents over the last two weeks to $2.96, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is also down by 11 cents to $3.08. In Martinsville the average price is down by 19 cents to $3.09 and in Henry County the average is down by 14 cents to $3.09 as well.

Average prices in Halifax County are down by nine cents over the last couple weeks to $3.30 a gallon.
