Average gas prices across Virginia dropped from two weeks ago by two cents to $3.10 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country fell by seven cents to $3.22.

The average price of gas in Danville is down by a penny to $2.95, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is down by a nickel to $2.99 a gallon. In Martinsville the average price is down by six cents to $2.96, while in Henry County the average price is up by on cent to $3.01.

Average prices in Halifax County are down by 21 cents from two weeks ago to $3.02 a gallon.
