Average gas prices across Virginia are down seven cents again this week to $2.96 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country fell by nine cents as well to $3.06 a gallon.

The average price of gas in Danville fell by seven cents to $2.82, while the average price in Pittsylvania County is also down by six cents to $2.87 a gallon. In Martinsville the average price dropped by four cents to $2.90, while in Henry County the average price is down by eight cents to $2.87.

Average prices in Halifax County are down by a penny to $2.98 a gallon.
