An accident that killed a Danville woman and her dog in Maryland is under investigation. A report from Maryland State Police says that 32-year-old Kerri Snead of Danville was driving on Inner Loop Interstate 495 in Prince George’s County on December 8 when she experienced car trouble.
Snead and her dog then got out of the car and attempted to cross the outer loop. While attempting to cross the road Snead and her dog were hit by a Hyundai Elantra. Both Snead and her dog were pronounced dead at the scene.
No charges have been filed at this time, but the crash remains under investigation.
