A man has been arrested following a crash that injured two teens in Patrick County on December 16. On Monday the Patrick County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Oscar Eduardo Vidrio, after he was released from Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Vidrio’s charges include Reckless Driving, Driving while Suspended / Revoked, DWI 1st Offense, Permanent Maiming another while DWI, DWI Maiming Serious Injury, and two other traffic summons.
The crash left 16-year-old Micah Underwood and his girlfriend 17-year-old Lauren Worley with serious injuries. Worley suffered severe forehead brain trauma, a broken jaw, her carotid artery was severely damaged, a broken femur, a broken hip, bruised lungs and her spleen was cut. Underwood suffered a broken leg and arm in the crash.
Vidrio is being held in the Patrick County Jail without bond.
