A man in Henry County died on Sunday after accidentally shooting himself. According to BTW 21, the man accidentally shot himself in the stomach while cleaning the gun.

The man called 911 after shooting himself, but was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred on Hale’s Fish Pond Road.

The identification of the man has not been released at this time.
