A man has been arrested in Henry County following a drug bust. 56-year-old Timothy Smith has been arrested after a search warrant was executed in the 100 block of Mars Drive in Axton.

During the search nine illegally possessed firearms, suspected cocaine, marijuana, ammunition, and cash were all seized.

Smith has been charged with an outstanding indictment on the distribution of a schedule two controlled substance.

Smith has also been charged with possession and intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm while in possession of a schedule 1 or 2 substance. Smith was taken into custody and is being held in the Henry County Adult Detention Center.
