An Amber Alert for a 5-year-old girl missing from Kentucky has been canceled and her father has been taken into custody. Lela Black was found safe with her father, Byron Black, on Monday.

Kentucky State Police is still investigating the death of the juvenile’s mother, Kelly Black, after her body was discovered on Sunday. Black died from a gunshot wound to the head.
