A driver in Henry County crashed into a storefront on Thursday. The accident occurred at The Shoe Dept. on Commonwealth Boulevard as a GMC SUV ran into the front of the store and broke a front window.

According to Virginia State Police, the elderly man driving the SUV pressed the gas instead of the brake by mistake causing him to run into the store. There were no injuries in the crash.

The Shoe Dept. will be closed until further notice.
