The Danville Fire Department responded to a house fire on Friday morning. At 4:00 am crews responded to 178 Marshall Terrace and found heavy fire and smoke in the back of the home.
Fire crews began suppression activities and entered the home to search for any occupants. The two occupants and one cat were located outside of the home.
One of the occupants was treated and transported to the ER for further evaluation by the Danville Life Saving Crew. Fire crews extinguished the fire which caused heavy damage to the home. No other injuries were reported.
Danville Fire Marshal’s office arrived to investigate and determined the cause of the fire to be electrical. The Red Cross was notified and responded to assist the homes occupants.
