Bridgewater College Shooter Receives Two Life Sentences

The man who was arrested for a fatal shooting at Bridgewater College in 2022 has been sentenced to two life sentences plus six years in prison.

According to WSLS, Alexander Campbell pleaded guilty to two counts of first degree murder and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Campbell shot and killed Campus Police Officer John Painter and Campus Safety Officer JJ Jefferson on February 1, 2022.
