Average gas prices across Virginia increased slightly this week up three cents to $3.24 a gallon, while the average price of gas across the country is up by four cents to $3.39 a gallon.

The average price of gas in Danville is up by six cents to $3.12, while the average price in Pittsylvania County jumped by nine cents to $3.23 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average price climbed by nine cents to $3.18 and in Henry County the average price is up by 12 cents to $3.23. Prices in Halifax County dropped by three cents to $3.23 a gallon.
