Authorities in Orlando have said the death of Averett Professor Dr. David Hanbury doesn’t appear suspicious at this time. According to the Orlando Police Department, officers responded to 450 East Compton Avenue (Club Orlando) in reference to an unattended death call.

Upon arrival staff took officers to where Hanbury was located. The investigation into his death does not appear to be suspicious at this time.

The cause of death will be determined by the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office. The investigation is active and on-going.
