Average gas prices across Virginia dropped by two cents to $3.43 a gallon this week, while the average price of gas across the country remained the same at $3.53 a gallon.

The average price of gas in Danville is unchanged at $3.25, while the average price in Pittsylvania County dropped by five cents to $3.34 a gallon.

In Martinsville the average dropped by a penny to $3.32 and in Henry County the average price is down by four cents to $3.35. Prices in Halifax County fell by 8 cents to $3.41 a gallon.
